Born in 1925, Tillie was raised in a family that believed in the value of home cooking. Gardens were huge, the summer canning was mountainous, and you could smell the homemade cinnamon rolls for miles around. In 1947, Tillie married Alden Nussbaum, the founder of Nussbaum Transportation. Soon, her own home was filled with the smells of baking as she raised her seven children. After 43 years of honing her techniques and collecting recipes, the Tillie & Friends Cookbook was born. This is a reprinting of the original cookbook, complete with the original illustrations.
